NDIS SIL Registration Is Changing

From 1 October 2026, SIL providers will need to operate under the new NDIS registration requirements.

New SIL providers are required to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission from 1 July 2026. Existing providers have until 1 October 2026 to transition to the new registration arrangements, including meeting strengthened requirements for governance, workforce screening, incident management, quality systems and ongoing audits.

For some providers, registration will be the right next step. For others, the cost, complexity and ongoing compliance may prompt a different decision.

If registration isn’t the right path for your organisation, Vertaview Group offers a confidential way to explore your options; whether that’s transitioning participants, exiting the market or becoming part of a larger, established provider.

Whatever path you choose, our priority is protecting participants, supporting your workforce and preserving the value you’ve worked hard to build.
