Elke has been serving in the role in an interim capacity since earlier this year, during which time she has delivered significant outcomes for the organisation. Her leadership has seen the successful completion of a major audit, a marked uplift in organisational capability, and the strengthening and standardisation of Business Continuity planning to enhance emergency preparedness across the business.
Elke’s appointment reflects both her strong performance in the role and her long-standing contribution to Vertaview Group. She has been with the organisation for more than three years, initially joining as Risk and Quality Manager before being appointed General Manager Safety and Quality in 2025. Throughout her tenure, Elke has played a key role in driving improvements in clinical governance, risk management, and quality systems.
Prior to joining Vertaview, Elke held senior positions within large pharmacy organisations. In these roles, she led Practice Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance, and Medication Safety initiatives across both aged care and private hospital settings. Her breadth of experience and deep technical expertise have consistently supported the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
Elke brings not only a strong track record in clinical leadership, but also a deep understanding of Vertaview Group’s operations and strategic priorities. This combination ensures continuity in leadership and a sustained focus on strengthening clinical practice across the organisation.
We congratulate Elke on this well-deserved appointment and look forward to her continued impact in advancing safe, high-quality care across Vertaview Group.
